Bad news for Santa Clarita Diet fans! Netflix has done it again, it has cancelled a perfectly good show which had a strong cast and a solid fanbase.

Santa Clarita Diet is a zom-com about Joel and Sheila Hammond(played by Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant) who are husband and wife as well as real estate agents in the suburbs of Santa Clarita, California. The couple is faced with a predicament when Sheila starts becoming a zombie and craves human flesh and the show shows the struggles they face in their day to day lives.

Netflix dropped the bad news about cancelling the show just after they released its third season on March 29th and the fans were not happy about it at all. They had invested too much into the show.

This Is Not The First Time Netflix Has Axed Shows Abruptly
Last year Netflix went trigger happy with the cancel button on several Marvel shows such as Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Daredevil. People were deeply hurt and offended when they decided to cancel Daredevil. Some even decided to cancel their Netflix subscription over that decision.

“Like our audience, we were all-in on Sheila and Joel. Their relationship, in the face of incredible adversity, was inspiring to write and to watch. Mostly, they were funny, which in a comedy is important. Working with Drew and Tim, along with the immensely talented Liv and Skyler, was a joy and a once in a lifetime experience.
