33-years-old Eric White was once a homeless man who had to survive on the streets. These days he is the owner of a company he created called Zydeco Construction which specializes in designing and building custom made beach houses for their clients right in their backyards!<\/p>\n

His childhood and most of his early adult days were riddled with struggles which he had to face alone.<\/p>\n As A Teenager, Eric Went Homeless For A Brief Period Of Time<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n via<\/a><\/p>\n Eric shares-<\/p>\n “I have a story to share that is pretty inspirational<\/em>\u00a0I was homeless at 15 for about eight months of my life, I had dropped out of school in the ninth grade and only had a second-grade reading skill. I could hardly even spell my name.”<\/em><\/p>\n But He Had A Passion- Construction<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n via<\/a><\/p>\n “Construction was something I always understood; I knew if I worked at it, I could really do something with it.”<\/em><\/p>\n He Had To Work Multiple Low Income Jobs Just To Stay Afloat But He Never Gave Up<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n via<\/a><\/p>\n “I started working as a helper for a local construction company, doing what I could do to make a dollar and doing what I could to feed my daughter. From there I found a job working as a mechanic for a Ford dealership, but that wasn\u2019t really for me. My dad told me about another construction company hiring in Baton Rouge that was paying $12 an hour and I took that opportunity.” Eric’s Stint At The Ford Dealership Made Him Realise Something: Construction Was His True Calling!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n via<\/a><\/p>\n He joined the construction company his dad told him about and within six months, he was managing a team of his own. He then formed his own company called\u00a0Cool Pools\u00a0<\/em>which was his first success as a business owner. He sold\u00a0<\/em>Cool Pools\u00a0<\/em>for a million dollars last year.<\/p>\n Now Eric Finally Had The Resources To Build His Vision Which Is Why He Formed Zydeco Constructions<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
