A modern adaptation of Cinderella of folklore, A Cinderella Story, the teen romantic comedy story that was released in 2004 in America has been a classic movie that Americans of all ages like to cherish. While the film, which revolves around two Internet pen pals planning to meet at Halloween dance, has been a success, the cast has achieved a cult status. People, mostly, teenagers just love to identify themselves with Hillary Duff as Sam or Chad Michael Murray as Austin or Julie Gonzalo as Shelby. The casting of the film had been so fine that there are many people even after so many years who like to identify themselves with the cast members. So how are they doing now, after 15 years? The success of “A Cinderella Story” did help them land some good roles in television dramas and movies and move on in their quest for a good foothold in the entertainment industry. There is a cast member who has even own a Oscar. The role of Rhonda was played by Regina King and she has won an Oscar for her incredible performance in “If Beale Street Could Talk”.
The leading lady, Sam, played by Hillary Duff, is now a mother of two and acting in television series Younger. She seems to have grown up as a nice looking rather voluptuous young woman with a charming wand that can captivate many. Chad Michael Murray who played the role of Austin has grown up into a young man with a stubble and is playing a cult leader in Riverdale. Others also seem to have aged quite gracefully.
